Our readings for our March 8 class: Equity in mathematics education

We have an international set of readings this week on approaches to equity in mathematics classrooms:

1) Esmonde (Canada): Ideas and identities

2) Civil (US, Hispanic communities): Building On Community Knowledge

3) Schütte & Kaiser (Germany): Equity and the quality of language..

I think these varied readings ought to spark some good discussion!
